- too much memory for my taste.

- As for not using all 256 colors, this is because of the way WB chooses colors. It will
- get pickier and pickier the less colors are free - it tries to find a close color.

- There is a patch on Aminet called "ObtainBetterPens" or something like that, it may
- help you.

- Lastly, I have a tip. When you load your picture for your backdrop, don't scale it into
- 256 colors. Use ADPro or your program of choice to scale it to >>128<< colors. It looks
- almost as good, actually looks fine if you use a nice gfx program with dithering. You
- will then get a very good reproduction of the image, that seems to usually look BETTER
- than if you use 256 colors, because the 256 color image will remap some colors out.

- All my backgrounds are 800x600x128 colors, on a 256 color WB, and they look great.
